Los voluntarios fortalecen la confianza en s\u00ed mismas de las familias, desarrollan liderazgo, forjan relaciones, aprenden a desenvolverse en el sistema escolar y abogan por los ni\u00f1os dentro del sistema. Los Padres Mentores brindan apoyo adicional en el aula, especialmente a los estudiantes que tienen ingl\u00e9s como segundo idioma, y trabajan con grupos peque\u00f1os para brindar apoyo en lectoescritura y matem\u00e1ticas. Para obtener informaci\u00f3n sobre el proceso de inscripci\u00f3n y los pr\u00f3ximos pasos, llame o env\u00ede un correo electr\u00f3nico (informaci\u00f3n de contacto a continuaci\u00f3n).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Costo:<\/strong> Gratis<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elegibilidad:<\/strong> Debe tener 18 a\u00f1os o m\u00e1s, completar 8 horas semanales de voluntariado en un aula, asistir a 2 horas de capacitaci\u00f3n semanal, completar toda la documentaci\u00f3n necesaria antes de comenzar su voluntariado, asistir a la capacitaci\u00f3n inicial del programa, completar y aprobar una verificaci\u00f3n de antecedentes penales y completar la capacitaci\u00f3n obligatoria para denunciantes dentro del primer mes.
