The October Quarterly Meeting of the WMRHA proved to be a rich forum for dialogue and collaboration, as we delved into the pressing challenges and innovative solutions shaping population health in our tri-county region. Our gathering was highlighted by the contributions of esteemed public health leaders including Heath Harmon, Mason Hohstadt, Ariel Holstein, and hospital leaders Amy Lavigne, and Stacy Gavrell, who reminded us of the impactful work being done in our communities.
Our discussions centered on strategies to address health disparities and advance the Public Health Improvement Plan (PHIP), informed by recent hospital needs assessments. These conversations are vital as we collectively strive for health equity and improved outcomes for all residents in our region.
As we reflect on our meeting, we feel grateful to be part of such a committed network of health leaders dedicated to fostering a healthier future for everyone. Together, we are not just identifying challenges; we are paving the way for meaningful change in our communities.
