Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs)

Services: FQHCs provide a wide range of comprehensive health and supportive services, including; Primary medical care, Dental services, Behavioral health (mental health and substance use disorder treatment), Pharmacy services, Preventive health screenings and immunizations, Prenatal and perinatal care, Health education, Case management, Assistance with health insurance enrollment, Translation and interpretation services (including Spanish and other languages).

Cost: FQHCs offer services on a sliding fee scale based on income and family size. Patients without insurance are not turned away and can still receive care at reduced cost. Provide basic demographic and income information to determine eligibility for sliding scale fee before getting service for cost. Most FQHCs accept Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance. Call your insurance for coverage and deductible (cost) before appointment.

Eligibility: FQHCs serve all individuals, regardless of insurance status, income, or immigration status. To access services, schedule an appointment (walk-ins may be available in some locations).
