Celebrating a Decade of Impact: WMRHA Releases 2025 Annual Report

West Mountain Regional Health Alliance (WMRHA) is proud to share our 2025 Annual Report, highlighting the partnerships, programs, and collective impact that continue to strengthen health and well-being across Eagle, Garfield, and Pitkin counties. This year also marks an important milestone—10 years of regional collaboration dedicated to improving health outcomes and addressing community challenges together.

At WMRHA, we believe lasting change happens when organizations work together. Over the past decade, we have built a network of more than 200 partners committed to advancing health equity, improving access to care and resources, and addressing the social determinants of health that affect our communities.

Addressing Housing and Homelessness

Through the Valley Alliance to End Homelessness (VAEH), regional partners continue working toward a shared vision where homelessness is rare, brief, and compassionate. In 2025, the collaborative effort connected hundreds of individuals with services, housing resources, and support throughout the tri-county region. VAEH remains focused on expanding housing access, strengthening coordinated services, and implementing evidence-based approaches to homelessness response.

Strengthening Food and Nutrition Security

The Mountain Coalition for Food and Nutrition Security (MCFNS) continued its work to improve access to nutritious food and support local food systems. This year, coalition partners identified key regional priorities, including expanding home-delivered meals for older adults, increasing emergency food access, and strengthening mobile pantry services for rural communities.

Improving Access to Community Resources

WMRHA’s Regional Health Connector program expanded awareness and utilization of community resources through ongoing updates to the Resource Directory, community outreach, and cross-sector partnerships. Resource Directory engagement more than tripled over the past year, reflecting growing community awareness and need for accessible, reliable information.

Investing in Regional Collaboration

During Fiscal Year 2024–2025, WMRHA worked alongside local governments, healthcare organizations, nonprofits, and philanthropic partners to direct resources toward community priorities. Approximately 66% of organizational expenditures supported direct community services and programs, reinforcing our commitment to investing resources where they are needed most.

Looking Ahead

As we enter our second decade, WMRHA remains committed to building an integrated whole-health system that supports optimal health for all people who live in the West Mountain region. We are grateful to our partners, funders, board members, staff, and community members whose collaboration makes this work possible.
