Each year, EFSP is awarded federal funds through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA under the Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program (EFSP). These pass-thru funds are awarded to local emergency food and shelter organizations to supplement and expand the capacity of food, shelter, and utility assistance programs to support individuals and families across only Garfield County who are experiencing economic emergencies.
Garfield County was awarded a total of $87,966 in federal funds through the Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) under the Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program.
