Wings

Services: Customized Therapist & Agency Referrals: Wings helps adult survivors connect with an individual therapist skilled in trauma recovery by providing customized referrals to therapists and other services. Support Groups: Wings offers free of cost therapist-facilitated peer Support Groups as a beneficial complement to individual therapy. These are for survivors and loved ones.

Cost: Free

Eligibility: Therapist and Agency Referrals: the person is 18 years or older; They are either an adult survivor of childhood sexual abuse or a loved one of an adult survivor; Support Groups: Live in Colorado and commit to regular attendance; Have completed some prior trauma work and have access to an individual therapist; Be able to manage trauma symptoms, self-soothe, and regulate emotions; Live in a safe, stable environment where basic needs are met.

Mountain West SANE Alliance

Services: Providing victims of sexual assault and domestic violence trauma informed, compassionate, culturally sensitive, and comprehensive medical forensic evaluation and treatment by trained, professional sexual assault nurse examiners (SANEs). The SANE can also discuss with you your options for making a report to law enforcement.

Cost: Free

Eligibility: Victims of sexual assault, domestic violence

Advocate Safehouse Project

Services: Comprehensive and confidential bilingual emotional support safety planning, emergency shelter, case coordination, and referrals to survivors/victims of those experiencing intimate partner and sexual violence.

Cost: Free

Eligibility: Those who have or are experiencing intimate partner and sexual violence.

Catholic Charities

Services: Information, referral, and mediation services for those needed transitional assistance to a new culture. Advocacy and mediation for victims of a crime.

Cost: Free

Eligibility: Residents of Eagle, Pitkin, Garfield Counties. Appointments preferred, but can accommodate walk-ins at the Glenwood location. Appointments only at the Eagle and Avon offices.

Response

Services: Response is the only nonprofit in the upper Roaring Fork Valley dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic and sexual abuse, stalking, and human trafficking. We provide free, confidential, bilingual, and trauma-informed services, including a 24-hour crisis helpline, legal and medical support, and education on healthy relationships. Halle Center for Hope and Healing in Basalt, offers a 7-unit shelter and housing assistance to help survivors and their children move from crisis to safety and stability.

Cost: Free

Eligibility: Must be a survivor of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking.
