Services:  Food pantry. One-time assistance with rent, utilities, car repairs, prescription glasses, and/or transportation for individuals that qualify.  Emergency and Disaster Services. Volunteer opportunities.

Eligibility: Complete intake form and provide photo ID, call for further information. Anyone 18 or older. Appointments are necessary but walk-ins are welcome too. Serves the Vail Valley.

Jesus Saves Homeless Day Shelter

Services: Free breakfast, lunch, showers, clothing and shoe closet during operational days. Non-denominational with optional bible study during operating hours. Open Tuesday – Friday in Glenwood Springs at Catholic Charities.

Garfield County Public Health and Environment; WIC Program

Services: WIC is a supplemental nutrition program providing healthy food, nutrition education, breastfeeding guidance, and community support. Spanish services.

Cost: Free

Eagle County Healthy Aging Senior Nutrition Site Transportation

Services: Door to door bus service from your home to one of our Healthy Aging sites for lunch & activities. Tuesdays and Thursdays in Eagle and El Jebel and Wednesdays and Fridays in Minturn.

Cost: Suggested donation of $3 per ride.

Eligibility: Must be 60 or better and live within the main valley corridors. Call for service. Serves Eagle County.

The River Center of New Castle

Services: Totes of Hope, food bags to take home after school for the weekend.

Cost: Free

Eligibility: Children enrolled in an elementary/middle school in New Castle or Silt. For service families should sign up with the school counselors at their children’s schools, the front desk can help if needed.

Services: Gleaning & redistributing surplus food from farms & fruit trees to hunger-relief agencies

Cost: Free

Eligibility: Sign-up on website. Volunteers that glean with us have the opportunity to take fruit home in exchange for their help. Serves Pitkin, Eagle & Garfield counties.
