Services: High-quality civil legal services to eligible low-income Coloradans and seniors. Please note, we have an intake process that all applicants must complete. You can apply online on our website. We aren’t a hotline, which means that we must screen all applicants before help can be provided. Spanish services.

Eligibility: Low-income Coloradans seeking assistance with civil legal needs. Serves Pitkin, Eagle & Garfield counties.

CASA of the Ninth

Services: Court Appointed Child Advocates, Supervised Family Time Program and Care for the Caregivers Retreats.

Cost: Supervised Family Time Program offers a sliding scale.

Eligibility: Court appointment, or In-take interview. (Call for more information). Serves Garfield County.

High Country Volunteers Tax Assistance Program

Services: Certified IRS volunteers prepare and e-file Federal and State income taxes for individuals and families with incomes less than $67,000. This program runs February through April 15th. Appointments available in Glenwood Springs, Rifle, and Parachute. Spanish services.

Cost: This program is free of charge.

Eligibility: Individuals and families with incomes less than $67,000. Serves Pitkin, Eagle & Garfield counties.

YouthZone

Services: Comprehensive family assessment, juvenile court advocacy, restorative justice programming, substance use education, mental health services, parent support programming. Spanish services.

Cost: $200 for a three- to six-month program, with a sliding scale based on income.

Eligibility: Adjudicated youth and their families, as well as non-adjudicated youth who are exhibiting risky, disruptive, or criminal behavior. Serves Pitkin, Eagle & Garfield counties.

Catholic Charities

Services: Information, referral, and mediation services for those needed transitional assistance to a new culture. Advocacy and mediation for victims of a crime. Spanish services.

Cost: Free

Eligibility: Residents of Eagle, Pitkin & Garfield counties. Appointments preferred, but can accommodate walk-ins at the Glenwood location. Appointments only at the Eagle and Avon offices.

Services: Alpine Legal Services, Inc. is a private, non-profit civil legal assistance agency dedicated to providing legal services and upholding fundamental legal rights from Parachute to Aspen since 1987. Spanish services.
