Services: Home Visiting & Parenting Group. Program in Spanish for parents of children ages 0 to 3, where parents and children learn and grow together. A focus on early childhood development and a space to share and learn with other families. Group classes meet 2 times per week, and home visits are 2 times per month. Classes throughout various neighborhoods in Basalt, Carbondale, Glenwood Springs and New Castle.

Eligibility: Children 0-3 years old and their caregivers. Family must commit to participation in group classes, family nights, and home visits. The primary caregiver must participate in the home visitation component and another caregiver may participate in the class component of the program. Services: Case Management & Community Services. Wraparound services; Family Navigators conduct home visits, assist families in times of crisis, and provide one-on-one support to connect families with the resources they need to thrive. Eligibility: Children ages 3 to 5. Child must be 3 on or before their first day of class. Students must know how to go to the bathroom on their own. Child must not be registered in any other preschool; we prioritize children who have barriers to accessing preschool education. Bolsitas Rojas/Red Book Bag Clubs-Spanish-language, early childhood, weekly programs for parents/caregivers with children ages 0-5. The programs are in all public libraries, from Aspen to Parachute, Spring Valley Library, the El Jebel Firehouse/TACAW, and at the community center in DeBeque. Check website for times and dates.
